If you like your gains all under one roof, mark out Sep 23-24 for a full-blown health and fitness extravaganza. The Asia Fitness and Health Expo is making its debut in Singapore, bringing together renowned fitness, sports and wellness experts and brands for all to appreciate.
Whether you’re an amateur gym bunny or hardcore pro, expect everything from food to workouts to retail at the two-day event. International brands like Fitness First will be showcased, as well as local names like food nutrition experts Raw Living Asia. To get your sweat going, a variety of complimentary workshops and classes are on offer—from trampolining to yoga sessions, to high-intensity Zumba and cardio dancing. And of course, eating clean (or as clean as possible) comes with the territory; snack guilt-free with healthy food offerings like natural honey from Cerana Honey, organic Acai from Poppy & Co and paleo bakeries from Bakening.
For the serious bulkers and fitness professionals, scoff not—the expo is held in conjunction with the inaugural AFC Physique Championship, happening on Sep 24. Supported by the World Bodybuilding and Physique Federation Singapore (WBPF Singapore), the bodybuilding competition will pit bodybuilders and physique enthusiasts against each other in three separate categories: Men’s Sport Physique, Women’s Sport Physique, and Open Bodybuilding. Winners from each category will walk away with monetary prizes and the chance to represent Singapore in future bodybuilding events across Singapore.
Best part? Admission to the expo is completely free. It might mean a small disruption in your workout schedule, but a comprehensive gathering of fitness and wellness aficionados should be reason enough to put your reps and sets aside for the weekend.
The Asia Fitness and Health Expo is happening Sep 23-24, 11am-10pm, at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Hall A. Admission is free and more information can be found here.
