Sneakerheads, enthusiasts and purveyors of streetwear, rejoice! If you’re looking to cop a pair of rare kicks or on the hunt for your version of the holy grail of limited edition sneakers, you’ll probably find it here. Sole Superior is back for its fifth run on Nov 25, spreading across the entirety of the Zouk’s new home in Clarke Quay.
The past four editions have been nothing short of successful at the old complex on Jiak Kim, with last year’s turnout summing up to a new record of 4,000 attendees. They’ve even made concrete their place on the global realm, with Highsnobiety documenting the best sneakers worn at the even, so it’s only natural for the convention to grow even bigger this year.
Though there isn’t a tattoo parlor of sorts on-site this year, you can expect the usual mix of vendors from global brands and retailers, as well as independent labels and artists. Besides, you already know that they have treats and surprises up their sleeves. As usual, you’ll have numerous chances to win coveted lucky draw prizes worth over $30,000. Also, look out for the “head-to-toe” event-exclusive capsule of merchandise designed by Freshly Pressed Socks and Pras The Bandit in collaboration with international brands New Era, XLARGE and Novesta.
Once you’re done splurging, head over to a warehouse over at 5 Pereira Road for their first ever afterparty, presented in partnership with Moonbeats Asia. Fool’s Gold Record’s artist and LA-based electronic music producer Falcons will be making his Singapore debut, promising a hyped night of dancehall, electronica and hip hop tunes till the sun rises.
Tickets are $10 and available online at Ticketbox or at various Limited Edt stores across the city, The Analog Vault, Goodluck Bunch, Seek (ION Orchard) and Union Studios. Tickets for the afterparty start from $40, with various options here. Check out highlights from last year below:
