Try this cycling trail to rediscover the Singapore downtown on a bike

Cycling doesn’t have to be mundane, especially not along Design Circuit, a novel cycling trail conceptualized by local lifestyle retailer Naiise and oBike. Planned as a means to reintroduce Singapore’s lacklustre city center as fresh and exciting, the 2km-trail consists of 10 curated stops in partnership with local brands, chosen for their strong design influence in retail, architecture, craft, art and food.

You can choose to visit the 10 pitstops in any order, to learn about the brand as well as participate in the activities organized. There’s indie street art gallery Kult Studio, record store The Analog Vault, and Funan Showsuite—Funan mall’s architectural vision offering a glimpse into the future of retail. As for food, stop and refuel with complimentary refreshments at Everything with Fries and Soi 55, both F&B staples near and dear to many a Singaporean’s heart. It isn’t a race, but the first 10 participants who successfully complete all the pitstop activities will receive a $50 Naiise gift card.

The trail will take you from Orchard Road to Clarke Quay to Marina Bay, and cover design-centric spots like Haji Lane and Aliwal Street. With no fixed start and end time, participants can register and set off with the oBike pass any time between 3pm and 9pm. Get ready to get active.

Tickets are available here at $15 per person and $26 for a pair, or you can walk in on the day at Naiise’s store in Orchard Gateway.
