Enjoy a scenic 2.5km, 5km, or 10km run at Jurong Lake for the second race of The Performance Series on Jun 26. $35-55 (depending on race category). Registration ends Jun 12.
Instead of sticking to a fixed race route, the Singapore City Race 2016 lets you map your fastest route. Just make sure you pass all the checkpoints along the way. The half party-half exercise Color Run is back from Aug 20-21, where you can sign up to do a 5km run bathed in colored powder, while island-themed music blares to keep you motivated. 4-10pm, Sentosa Beach Station, Palawan Green. $65 for Regular Color Runner (early bird rate at $55). Calling all SAF NS men, and hardcore marathoners: the SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon is back after a year’s hiatus, on Aug 28. Choose from one of two categories: the 21km Army Half Marathon and SAFRA 10km race, or take it easy in a non-competitive 5km Fun Run and the Families for Life 800m Challenge at the Esplanade Bridge. Walk for a cause
Spend your morning with friends and family at the Pledge Your Heart Walk 2016, a 3.5km non-competitive walk organized by the Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) in conjunction with the Go Red for Women (GRFW) campaign. Take part in a 4.7km route bike-ride around the Padang, Fullerton Road, Robinson Road and Shenton Way which will be closed to traffic from 7am-9am for Car-Free Sunday SG on Jun 26. Bike rentals are available in limited quantity, but you can also walk or jog alongside cyclists.
