ZoukOut just added three more names to its 2017 line-up

Just a couple of weeks back, we caught wind that Grammy award-winning electronic music producer Flume was going to make a return to Singapore this year after his Singapore debut at last year’s Laneway Festival on his own account.

Following that, Zouk made an official announcement on their first two artists coming for ZoukOut, which included the 25-year-old Australian, as well as Marshmello, who’s also back in Singapore after playing an afternoon set at last year’s Ultra (remember that whole drama about a fake Marshmello at Zouk?). If that wasn’t enough to start throwing money at the nightlife institution, they’ve added three more names to the line-up.

Adding to the crowd-pleasing EDM roster is German producer Robin Schulz. He’s worked with a number of industry giants like David Guetta, Akon and even James Blunt, creating some of the most sing-along-worthy summer bangers like “OK” and “Shed a Light”.

Also making an appearance at ZoukOut’s 17th edition is another German DJ/producer, the ever-mysterious Claptone. He’ll most likely be taking the second main stage, bringing with him some great underground deep house and techno beats to the fore in his classic top-hat, white gloves and gold mask get-up.

Last but not least on the second wave, is a veteran heavyweight in the house and techno scene who is no stranger to Singapore. After playing a deeply sensual and riveting set at Velvet Underground (back when Zouk was still at Jiak Kim) in 2015, Brazilian techno and house producer Gui Boratto returns to Singapore. This isn’t his first rodeo at the only large-scale dusk-to-dawn music festival; he played a set in 2011 alongside other biggies like Armin van Buuren, Roger Sanchez and Chuckie.

Tickets for ZoukOut, happening on Dec 8-9, are already available. More info here. In the meantime, check out last year’s ZoukOut aftermovie below.
