Spa for Jetsetters; Go Karting; Space Opens New Outlet

You Time
We all know the crazy toll travel can take on your skin and overall wellbeing. That’s why we recommend the Ladies’ Jetsetter Ritual ($248 for 135 minutes) at St Gregory Spa (4/F Pan Pacific Singapore, 7 Raffles Blvd., 1800-7224-342). You’ll be treated to a bout of dry scrubbing (uncomfortable at first but the radiant full-body glow after is well worth it), before their signature Instant Radiance Expert Facial and Wellbeing Massage. They’ll even serve a light, health-conscious snack for you at the poolside café when you’re done.
Need For Speed
If you can’t wait for the Singapore Grand Prix for your petrolhead fix, here’s something else to look forward to. The Singapore Karting Championship got off to a resounding start last weekend, with four more races scheduled between now and November. The next round of races happens May 14-15 from 10am. Registration to compete is closed for this one but you can still catch the race. If you think you’ve got what it takes, you can always sign up for the next round by Jul 1. Those looking for something more intense should check out OCBC Corporate Karting Challenge 2011 (first round happens on May 28), a kart endurance race which rewards the team that completes the most number of laps in four hours. Both events are free to watch and are held at Kartright Speedway. For more information, log on to www.kartright.com.
Launch into Space
Something special is brewing at the Space headquarters in light of their 10th anniversary. While the luxurious interior design store awaits the opening of its new outlet Space Asian Hub, its bungalow showroom (77 Bencoolen St., 6415- 0000) will be showcasing a carefully curated series of 10 iconic designs, each chosen for its timeless aesthetic and its influence on design innovation. Each piece will go on sale at a specially discounted price for one week only, beginning May 14. For more information on the 10/10: 10 years 10 icons display, see www.spacefurniture.com.sg.
