Yoga is probably one of the oldest, most beloved wellness practices out there. Said to help practitioners relax and recuperate, yoga comes in more than one form. There’s hatha, vinyasa and flow, to name a few. Some are even done within a heated room, for a full-on sweat sesh. But to really find your peace, head to these six luxurious yoga studios. ‘Cause if you somehow couldn’t find your zen in class, the facilities and lavish bathroom situation will definitely help.
COMO Shambhala Urban Escape Singapore
One of Singapore’s most exclusive wellness centres, COMO Shambhala Urban Escape Singapore offers yoga, pilates and massage therapy, plus a good range of other healthcare treatments. Located at Orchard’s The Delfi, the 7,000 sq ft space has undergone a revamp, now boasting more showers, lockers and even a treatment room, on top of the four changing rooms and spacious yoga as well as pilates studios.
Hom Yoga River Valley
Hom Yoga may have three different locations in Singapore, but the outlet at Valley Point has got to be the most peaceful and aesthetically-pleasing outlet out of the three. Find rain showers, a large vanity area, and even an alfresco lounge area within the premises; plus you’ll always get two fluffy and warm towels the minute you sign-in for class. Oh, and the hot hatha classes here are simply divine.
Platinum Yoga (Suntec City Mall)
Spacious, well-maintained and completely decked out in neutral hues to soothe your mind and body, Platinum Yoga’s Suntec City Mall studio is catered for stress relief. Unwind with private yoga classes in the personal training room, fetch warm towels from the reception, then indulge in a hot shower thanks to polished shower facilities.
Pure Yoga Suntec City
This has got to be one of the nicest gyms in Singapore. While Pure Yoga also has a number of outlets dotted around Singapore, the Suntec City branch houses a juice and coffee bar, a roomy lounge area, and even larger studios for yogis to practice poses. But we think the vanity space in the female locker room alone is worth the pricey membership fee.
Warrior Studios
A true sanctuary in the CBD, Warrior Studios’ home at Lorong Telok is a well-thought-out space—cosy and elegant in equal measure. And that’s all thanks to the minimalist “Saucha” Bathroom and Vanity area, the light-filled “Surya” Sun Studio/ Main Space and even the aesthetically pleasing “Tara” Star Lounge. Simply reconnect with your inner self by giving their $75 for five classes trial package a go.
Yoga Movement Robertson Quay
Welcoming you into a boho chic studio on Martin Road is Yoga Movement’s Robertson Quay branch. Here, enjoy up to seven different class types (think Power Flow and Hot Basics) before winding down with a cuppa by Common Man Coffee Roasters.
