Tiong Bahru is already a testified hot spot for food and lifestyle wares but there’s another stylish draw of late: new pampering spot Nimble/Knead.
It has the usual spa offerings like massage (from $69 for a 60-minute Royal Thai session), foot reflexology ($42 for 60 minutes), body masks ($59 for 45 minutes) scrub ($59 for 45 minutes) and bath therapy ($55 for 30 minutes). But what sets Nimble/Knead apart from the usually-zen competitors is its unusual industrial decor, complete with shipping containers parts and wooden boxes, to bring an element of surprise.
More reasons to visit: First-time guests enjoy a 60-minute massage for $56. Like Nimble/Knead on facebook and get a 90-minute massage for $75. Visit on weekdays (Tuesdays to Fridays) to enjoy promotional rates on its Luncheon Knead and Afternoon Siesta treatments, with prices starting from only $24. From February 8 to 17, the spa is offering a Valentine’s Box package ($258) for couples, which includes a 45-minute body scrub, a 30-minute fresh milk jacuzzi bath and a 60-minute Balinese massage).
