Always had trouble motivating yourself to run? Then you’ll be glad to hear that the PUMA Running Club will be returning on April 3, after a successful run (pun intended) last year. This time round, however, there’ll be improvements such as more structured training and a new membership and privilege programme.
The new running season will feature a three-month training cycle that’s tailored to help beginners complete their first 10km, as well as push experienced athletes to clock faster timings. Workouts will be led by the team coach and runners from Team RunFanatics, and members will get to participate in a mixture of progressive runs, conditioning workouts, track trainings and long runs (gulp).
There’ll also be a brand new, two-tier membership programme for participants. Runners who don PUMA running shoes during the training sessions will qualify for the PUMA Running Club Gold—benefits include a 20% storewide discount during Thursday sessions, 20% discount on Hammer Nutrition products, a special singlet after the second training session, and more. The unfortunate souls without PUMA shoes will have to settle for the Puma Running Club Silver instead, where they’ll receive 20% off PUMA running shoes and 10% off other PUMA products, among other things.
That’s not all—PUMA Running Club has also teamed up with Enhance Physiotherapy to conduct a series of workshops. These workshops will cover running-related topics such as injury prevention and performance enhancement.
Membership’s completely free, as are the training sessions, but they’re strictly limited to the first 30 runners who register. Hurry and book your slot now via the official registration form (before April 9).
