Live stream HIIT, yoga, boxing and other workout classes with these 5 local gyms

It’s not easy finding the motivation to work out, much less when you’re almost always at home. Knowing this, many fitness studios which have taken their classes online during the circuit breaker period earlier this year have continued to offer virtual trainings to complement their physical lessons. From HIIT options to barre classes, join in fun and effective home workouts at these five online gyms.

Absolute You Singapore

One of the first few studios to jump on the home gym bandwagon, popular spin studio Absolute You has one hell of a fitness package. For $650 (not inclusive of deposit and delivery), receive a rental bike, a pair of clip-in shoes, dumbbells, and unlimited access to both Singapore and Bangkok’s Absolute You live stream cycling sessions. If you already have your own bike and equipment, feel free to subscribe to their live stream sessions for just a fraction of the full price.

Barre Lab

If you’re a fan of barre workouts, go ahead and check out Barre Lab’s classes online. To participate, download the MindBody app that allows you to book sessions. Just sign-up or sign-in under Lab Studios North Canal, and you’ll be guided on how to partake in the classes hosted on Zoom. Pay-as-you-go, or use your existing class package if you have one with the studio. And if you require barre props, head over to Barre Lab’s website to order some.

BoOm Singapore

Here to provide you your much-needed dose of HIIT boxing sessions, find Virtual: boOm From Home – Via Zoom that the fitness studio now conducts on a regular basis. It’s $10 for a single online class or just five for $30. But if you are committed to this work(out)-from-home arrangement, then choose their 30-day unlimited package that’ll offer you a whole month’s access to their virtual trainings.

Haus Athletics

Previously conducting their three signature sessions via Zoom, fitness franchise Haus Athletics has turned their attention to debuting their brand new Haus Interactive that allows you to train easily from the comfort of your own home. Besides 20-min workouts with dumbbells, also find many other sessions including a 10-min cardio or 30-min total body strength that can cater to your schedule. It’s just $30 per month for complete access to their online portal, so snap up your membership quick.

Yoga Lab

Just like their sister studio Barre Lab, Yoga Lab also organises online classes for all who aren’t ready to head back into their physical spaces yet. Download the MindBody app, sign-up or sign-in under Yoga Lab Raffles, and either fork out fees per class or use your ongoing class package to book a session. Not only will you remain trim and fit at home, but you’ll also be doing the studio a favour by supporting their instructors. A Lab On-Demand has also been launched, so check that out as well.
