But with the pandemic still ongoing, you’ll want to stay home as much as possible. That’s where the inaugural e-Pets’ Day Out comes in. This very first digital edition of the Animal & Veterinary Service’s regular rehoming platform lets you meet your potential new furkid from the safety and comfort of your abode.
Happening June 27, 3-5pm via Facebook Live on AnimalBuzzSG, get to meet cats and dogs from welfare groups like Cat Welfare Society, Causes for Animals Singapore, Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter and more, be put up for adoption.
You’ll get to go behind-the-scenes and see how these animal welfare groups take care of their shelter animals. Feel free to also interact with the welfare volunteers via comments, and ask away with questions you might have regarding the whole adoption process and its requirements.
For all animal lovers out there, even if you’re already a pet owner, you’ll also want to tune in as a professional vet will be coming online to share tips about pet care and health. Viewers can also pose questions and the selected ones will be answered live.
E-Pets’ Day Out is set to be a monthly virtual event, so if you don’t manage to find your pet soulmate this time around, check back in at the next edition.
