For starters, Charli XCX has released her album how i’m feeling now, produced entirely in lockdown; while others like Katy Perry have also put out singles from upcoming albums. Now penning lockdown lyrics, lead vocalist and guitarist of Death Cab for Cutie Ben Gibbard has officially released “Life in Quarantine” via the indie rock band’s YouTube channel. Rather mellow and sorrowful, the song doesn’t only allow the artist to share his blues, but it also perfectly encapsulates the despondent feelings that arise while practicing social distancing.
Quarantine Bae Remix
A fun tune that you can put on repeat for a lit party sesh in your bedroom, “Quarantine Bae Remix” is sung by none other than Grown-ish actor Trevor Jackson. Released in collaboration with musician Louis Gold, the remix sees Jackson pining for a quarantine bae while in lockdown, so he’ll have someone to spend quality time indoors with.

Probably the most relatable song you’ll hear about living through the Covid-19 pandemic, “Quarantine Life” by Matthew West is quite the upbeat tune too. Just hear how he puts a positive spin on staying indoors with his family while cleaning the house with Clorox wipes. Plus, like the musician says, it’s lonely inside but we’re gonna survive.

American singer-songwriter Call Me Karizma is quite the online personality. Having written “Quarantine With Me” that describes his loneliness while social distancing, he has also released its music video on YouTube which features FaceTime calls with his girlfriend in Moscow.
