Watching travel videos often induces FOMO. These days however, it feels more like a relief and a way to experience catharsis from our home-induced claustrophobia.

One of the best one that has popped up because of the global pandemic is conservation-led travel company andBeyond’s WILDwatch Live, a daily live stream show of African safaris. You get to go on a wildlife adventure of sorts, and you can actually interact with the guides via live chat.

It started in April and the live streams happen daily at 6-9am and 3.30-630pm CAT, or 12-3pm and 9.30pm-12.30am SGT, respectively. The main show is available to watch on their website, YouTube and Facebook. Follow real-life guides in their jeep as they take you on a personal tour of Ngala Private Game Reserve and Djuma Private Game Reserve.

If you’d rather catch the live stream on Instagram (@andBeyondTravel), you’ll be taken on a journey through Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Phinda Private Game Reserve instead. Join the guides there in their day-to-day, who are still working hard onsite to help upkeep the reserves.

And because it’s a live show, you never know what animals you’re gonna get to see. So instead of filling your time with shows like Tiger King and its insane man-made dramas, give this a try instead. It’ll definitely be a more enriching experience.
