Shark FlexStyle by Shark Beauty (part of Shark Ninja Limited) is a versatile tool that works as both hair dryer and multi-styler. The goal, according to the brand, is to help consumers embrace their hair, no matter the length, colour, thickness or texture.
This means Shark FlexStyle is able to cater to every hair type, transforming from a dryer with just a twist to a styler with six different attachments: two auto-wrap curlers, a paddle brush, oval brush, styling concentrator and curl-defining diffuser.
It is relatively lightweight and compact at under 700 grams so it is easy to handle and carry around. Its most distinguishing feature is probably the ability to twist it at a 90-degree angle for a more ergonomic option. Use it as a hair dryer or attach any of the six attachments to dry and style hair with no heat damage. It utilises innovative technologies to measure heat 1,000 times a second for consistent air temperature.
The entire set, which comes in a snazzy leather case, includes two Auto-Wrap Curlers for hassle-free curls. Thanks to the Coanda effect, hair is automatically wrapped around the barrel while the airflow dries and sets the hair.
Use the Paddle Brush for sleek straight styles, or the Oval Brush to amp up the volume. The Styling Concentrator helps target the right spots for styling. For those with wavy or curly hair, use the adjustable Curl-Defining Diffuser for faster hair drying and defined curls.
There are three heat and airflow settings (the highest temperature is at 95 degrees) to customise your routine and achieve your hair goals. The brand recommends hair to be slightly damp (90 percent dry) when styling. It also has a Cool Shot button to lock in hair styles.
