Where better to have the most important meal of the day than at the best of the best? All-day breakfast spot Wild Honey has claimed the title of Restaurant of the Year for two years running. Head to their Mandarin Gallery outlet and start your culinary adventure with breakfast plates inspired by their owners’ travels—Belgian, Mexican, Scandinavian and Tunisian, just to name a few.

Part of Singapore’s growing collection of adorable themed cafes, Gudetama Cafe at Suntec City claimed the Best Cafe award with its hearty, MSG- and preservative-free dishes and creative drinks. If you’re starting to feel hungry again, try their “Eggcited” Cajun chicken with waffles; or get your caffeine kicks with a butterscotch latte or frosted mint mocha.

Mojo is a place where fast food meets slow food—they specialize in grain and protein bowls that are wholesome and irresistible, but still served in about 90 seconds. This dedication has seen them scoop the Sembcorp New Restaurant of the Year award. Be sure to make your next visit in the evening, when Mojo morphs into a contemporary izakaya.

Arrive before the regular revelry at Ce La Vi gets started, and take in the billion dollar views from atop Marina Bay Sands while the sun goes down. Winner of the Best Bar award, Ce La Vi stocks an extensive range of bubbly, whisky and rum to go with a selection of craft cocktails like Bibik’s Delight (anejo rum, Cointreau, fresh lemon, black tea, honey, egg white and kaya).

Japan-inspired steakhouse Fat Cow might have an unconventional location at Camden Medical Centre, but what it offers is well worth the journey—a fitting establishment to collect the Ctrip Travellers’ Pick award. Start with one of their spirited cocktails, then go for their omakase option; or have your choice of mouthwatering wagyu beef from Kobe, Miyazaki, Ohmi, Saga, Tochigi or Australia’s Mayura Station.

The final leg of this tour takes you to Antoinette, winner of the Best Dessert award. The last order at their Mandarin Gallery outlet is at 9:30pm, so pop in for strawberry shortcake, Mont Blanc or any one of their unique creations to round off a perfect day.
