Tiger Beer has released bottles named after local districts like Bedok and Yishun

Because going local is cool (and to remind us that they are a Singapore brand), Tiger Beer has released a new limited-edition series of bottled beers sporting labels named after our beloved neighborhoods.

The liquid in each 330ml bottle is the same Tiger lager we know (and love?), but rather than the “Asian Lager” label we usually see, you’ll find various new labels carrying names like Ang Mo Kio, Bukit Batok, Punggol, and more. There are 20 different ones in total, excluding the Tuas district bottle they released earlier last year.

Each district label is accompanied by a corresponding artwork representing the area, so the Bugis one has a drawing of Bugis Street on it, while Chinatown’s bottle is represented by a facade of the People’s Park Complex.

If you’re a resident of neighborhoods like Potong Pasir, Sengkang or Woodlands, you’ll sadly not find your hood’s label on a Tiger Beer bottle.

In any case, you can get your hands on these limited-edition bottles at your usual supermarkets, or online via Lazada. In conjunction with the launch, they’re also going to hold a party on Saturday Jul 6 at Deck, where craft beer bar BunkerBunker! is. Wonder how that’ll unfold.
