Stock up for your year-end parties at the 8th Wine & Whisky Week

Taking cue from the fashion world for its 8th edition is the biannual Wine & Whisky Week (it actually spreads across almost two weeks), the alcohol market by 1855 The Bottle Shop that’s taking place just in time for your festive haul.

Happening Nov 6-17 once again at the Suntec City East Atrium, more than 100 labels (including gin and sake) will be available to taste before you buy, while there will be over 500 labels in total on offer at attractive prices.

For wines, brands like The Prisoner Wine Company, Charles Smith Wines, and Castellodi Monsanto (1855 exclusive) will be making their Singapore debuts, while Johnnie Walker will be offering two new limited-edition whiskies inspired by Game of Thrones—A Song of Fire and A Song of Ice. Belvanie too, will be launching a new 14-year-old single malt whisky that’s part of their Stories range.

Adding a fashionable touch to this upcoming edition is The Style Palette (a vogue take on your mouth’s palate), where five distinct styles—Edgy & Provocative, Quirky & Playful, Rustic & Traditional, Elegant & Sophisticated and Bold & Expressive—will help hint you at the type of liquid stored in the bottle. You then get to declare your style at a Personality Wall installation, via dropping a token in a box that best represents you.

There’s also the Wine Walk to take part in, essentially a personal tasting passport, that once complete, lets you redeem shopping and dining vouchers. Upon purchasing something, you get a bonus gift bag too. With your receipt, get to take part in a sure-win lucky dip (min. $400 spend) as always. Who knows, you might just bag yourself the wine chiller top prize.

Wine & Whisky Week happens Nov 6-17, Wednesdays to Sundays, 11am-10pm at Suntec City East Atrium. Admission is free.
