What is F1 without the crazy parties? While race fans geek out over the high-tech machines and concertgoers sweat it out at the Padang, the rest of us will be busy fueling up on bubbly and dancing till we drop. Here are the best ones to head to.
Amber Lounge
The OG VIP party happening at Temasek Reflections will be lit as always, upping the ante with an F1 driver fashion show, top DJ acts and plenty of free-flowing drinks. It’s also easily the best place to rub shoulders with the stars. Sep 21-22
Asia Pitstop Series
Get into pole position at the Clarke Quay Fountain Square where a carnival packed with games, F&B booths, music and a live screening of the race await. Then switch gears and head to nearby Get Juiced for an after-party that’s free entry if you got yourself a drink from any of the booths. Sep 18-22
The Circuit
It’s the 9th edition of this sky-high revelry, all happening at the highest alfresco bar in the world, 1-Altitude. Expect an international DJ lineup, race-themed activities by sponsors Red Bull and Heineken, special Grand Prix cocktails and more. Sep 20-22
Experience the F1 High
For a sit-down spot to knock back craft brews while getting a top-down view of the race action below, look no further than the world’s highest urban microbrewery, Level33. There’ll be live screenings of the race on all days too. Sep 20-22
F1 Weekender – Garage
Starting Friday, expect upsized versions of the Zouk parties you know and love. We’re especially looking forward to Dash Berlin frontman Jeffrey Sutorius’ gig come Saturday, where we’re bound to get serenaded with non-stop hits. Sep 20-21
Marquee Race Weekend
It’s the first Grand Prix season since Singapore’s newest, largest nightclub opened, and you can bet they’re pulling out all the stops to make it an unforgettable shindig. Expect none other than DJ Ruckus flagging things off on Friday. We’ll see you at the dance floor. Sep 20-21
The Podium Lounge
A DJ set by Spice Girl Melanie C, performance by singer-songwriter Raleigh Ritchie (aka Grey Worm in Game of Thrones) and appearance of host Yvette King are among the reasons to make this 11th Podium Lounge your party pitstop. ‘Nuff said. Sep 20-22
Race The Night
Guest and resident DJs will be storming the decks of Bar Rogue for a high-octane week of parties taking place at the top of the tallest hotel in Singapore. You won’t want to miss this. Sep 19-22
Race Week at Mr Stork
The rooftop bar of Andaz Singapore is transforming into an F1-themed carnival filled with pop-up bars offering unique tipples and DJs belting out upbeat tunes all night. Get a table, or snuggle into one of their teepee huts; we prefer the latter. Sep 20-21
PR1X Party
Members club 1880 is welcoming one and all to their very first F1 party, tucked away from the main F1 crowds. Flit between rooms as you taste spirits at workshops by various alcohol brands, and as DJs from Darker than Wax, Fat Fish Familia and The Holy Spirits helm the decks. Sep 20
Soularium
On Sunday, Ce La Vi is transforming into a bohemian, electronic day-to-night party spot filled with infectious tunes, where DJs the likes of Alex Kennon and Mr.White will be on deck duty. But feel free to head over from Wednesday, where their club lounge will get the F1 partying started early. Sep 22
Sky Grande Prix
Enjoy five differently-themed nights at the 8th edition of this party series. Happening at Chimi’s this year, guests can even book a glamorous 30mins sunset cruise to see the race from a whole new vantage point. Sep 18-22
Va Va Vroom
It’s bound to get sultry and sensual, and definitely sexy at Lulu’s Lounge as not one, but two top burlesque performers work the stage with routines that’ll titillate and tease. Enjoy the sights and sounds here while sipping on cocktails, or head on over to neighbouring Bang Bang for electrifying beats that’ll keep you going all night. Sep 20-22
