Tidbits of information on the acts at ZoukOut Singapore 2018 had been slowly streaming in since they announced that the festival will be returning to its one-day format come Dec 1. We currently know that DJ duo W&W and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will be the international headliners.
They’ve now dropped their Phase 1 lineup, and it’s gonna be crazy with popular Swedish dance music group Galantis (the stage name of DJ-producers Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw) joining in as the third international headline act. This will also mark Galantis’ debut performance in Singapore, and we’re so psyched to finally see them live. Will the elusive Seafox also make its appearance? We can only hope.
Galantis
It’s only been a few years since the release of their first studio album Pharmacy (which clinched the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Album crown) back in 2015, but the duo’s meteoric rise to fame is understandable thanks to addictive tracks like “Run (U & I)”, “Louder, Harder, Better”, “Firebird” and “Peanut Butter Jelly”. We’re sure these hits will be crowd pleasers at ZoukOut, along with their sophomore album 2017’s The Aviary bests like “No Money” and “Love on Me”.
Together with Galantis, other Phase 1 announcements include regional act Goldfish & Blink from Malaysia, and local Zouk residents Ghetto and Nash D.
