Try over 40 homebrews at the 13th annual iBrew Challenge

The local craft beer and homebrewing scene is burgeoning. We have more and more Singapore brewers going pro and launching their own labels, increasingly more bars dedicated to serving a well-made beer, and most importantly, more people than ever before appreciating the craft behind it all.

And nowhere else will you find a more passionate annual gathering of local beer lovers than at iBrew Challenge (happening Oct 19), an annual competition (and festival of sorts) where homebrewers showcase their beers to the public, as well as to a panel of esteemed judges in hopes of winning the coveted Best of Show accolade.

For a ticket price of just $60 ($70 at the door), you get to taste over 40 free-flowing homebrews at the festival grounds, in an open field beside Blk 354 Clementi Ave 2, right outside where organisers iBrew’s shop is. But mainly, you’re here for the crowd, where you’ll get to meet fellow homebrewers, novice beer appreciators and professional beer brewers alike.

It’s not just strictly beers at the festival either. Ciders and mead are also fair game, while food stalls will be set up so you can line your stomach with grub in-between drinks. So come explore exciting new homebrews not available anywhere else, and soak in a communal atmosphere right in the Clementi heartlands.

iBrew Challenge 2019 happens Oct 19, 2-7pm at Blk 354 Clementi Ave 2. Tickets from $60.
