Pool party takeover by #WKualaLumpur at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove

To celebrate the recent launch of W Kuala Lumpur, the hotel is collaborating with W Singapore – Sentosa Cove on a takeover on Saturday, Nov 17. For one day only, W Singapore will transform into the ultimate tropical retreat where guests will get a peek into W Kuala Lumpur’s offerings including food, drinks, activities and music. Throughout the day, they’ll be serving up a variety of food and drinks inspired by the tropics at all locations – from a trio of specially curated cocktails by W Kuala Lumpur’s mixologist Rizal Junior, to live stations and canapes. Other than that, be prepared to whip out your cameras and snap away as they turn WET® into a tropical jungle, leaving you with plenty of Instagrammable picture perfect moments.

RAC (DJ) ANDRÉ ALLEN ANJOS
André Allen Anjos better known as RAC has now over 200 remixes to his name – including a Grammy win in 2017 for his take on Bob Moses’ “Tearing Me Up”, making him the first Portugese artist to win a Grammy. To date, RAC has amassed a resume of artists that reflects top trends in pop. His tracks include work for U2, Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, Lana del Ray and Odesza.

Created for those who love to work out and go out, these will not be your average workout sessions as these sessions are paired to beats from DJ Shigeki of W Singapore and W Kuala Lumpur’s Music Curator DJ Victor G.

Other than an afternoon of sips and dips, whip out your cameras and snap away as we turn WET® into a tropical jungle meant to leave you with instagrammable spots and picture perfect memories. Upping the ante, we’ve also loaded the pool with floats for endless fun in the sun. Be entertained by Asia’s top ipad magician, Alexander Yuen, as he roves around WET® and raise brows with his magic.

Your evening does not end here. It’s time to shift gears and head over to WOOBAR® (and get a literal taste of Kuala Lumpur!) where W Kuala Lumpur’s Mixologist, Rizal Junior will be serving his perfectly concocted signature cocktails with local ingredients such as tuak (Bornean rice wine) and pandan (screwpine leaves) against the sunset and tropical vibes.

Party the night away with internationally acclaimed Grammy Award winner for Best Remix Recording in 2017, DJ RAC, as he takes over the DJ booth from 6pm. With the power and popularity to play festivals and headline tours, expect non-stop revelry as the sun sets against marina views at WOOBAR®.
