The year has come to an end and none of your 2018 resolutions were fulfilled. But hey, it don’t matter, cause you can try failing it all over again when 2019 comes around. Until then, let it all go at these bangin’ New Year’s Eve 2018 countdown parties in Singapore.
Orchard Road favourite Alley Bar is turning into a dance floor this NYE with DJs Nicolette and Yang electrifying the atmosphere with track after track of hard party anthems. Reserve a table to ensure you get the best deals, or just drop in and enjoy promos happening all night. Get three drink coupons at the door for $45 before 11pm.
Go luxe at this sky-high club perched atop the highest hotel in town. Enjoy front row views of the Marina Bay waterfront from Ce La Vi’s Club Lounge while clinking to glasses of Dom Perignon Champagne at this rooftop party spot. Get in theme and come dressed in glitter and sequins. Tickets cost $138, inclusive of a glass of Champagne.
We’ve lost count of the number of block parties thrown this year. But staking claim to the final one of 2018 is nightspot stalwart Clarke Quay, holding the mother of all block parties by building actual block structures (it’s cheeky, we know) at their central Fountain Square, making it the blockiest block party in town. Expect music, play zones and roving performances going on all night. Admission is free.
There ain’t no countdown party like a beach party, and at Coastes, get the full works with all-you-can-eat live BBQ accompanied with a sumptuous spread, plus live pop, rock and soul courtesy of SF-Xpress. Irresistible drink promos like jugs of beer for $28 and wines by the glass for $12 go on all night long, so never party with an empty glass in hand. Tickets cost $75, inclusive of free-flow buffet.
Get groovy at Pan Pacific Singapore’s disco-themed revelry held at the lobby level Atrium, where live DJs, unlimited canapes and house pours keep you fuelled as everyone counts down to the over 20,000 balloon drop that happens at the stroke of midnight. Tickets cost $138, inclusive of canapes, house wines, beers and soft drinks.
Celebrate the decade that brought us plenty of earworm bubblegum hits at the lobby of Grand Hyatt Singapore. For one night only, the space will be transformed into a dance floor blasting infectious tunes while desserts and Champagnes flow freely. Tickets cost $118, inclusive of the above.
Party and be treated like a Rock Star this New Year’s Eve at the Hard Rock Cafe Singapore with live performances by rock band Tabula, dishing out party hits from the likes of The Killers, U2, Coldplay and more. Then clink Champagne glasses come midnight as the host leads all you partygoers in a countdown. First drink charge of $25 applies.
For unparalleled low-slung views of the Marina Bay fireworks, Kinki’s rooftop party has you sorted. You’ll want to bring the crew along for this one, with a package for six persons that includes a bottle of Belvedere, Highland Park or Hendricks Gin, two bottles of Moet & Chandon Brut, two mixer jugs, four cans of Redbull and a sharing platter. On the last day of the year, Italian concept Publico at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is turning into a Venetian-inspired soiree, paying tribute to the glamorous masquerade parties thrown on the city’s piazzas. Come dressed in black or white and mask your inhibitions as the clock ticks towards midnight for the Champagne tower toast. Tickets from $138, inclusive of canapes, Bellini, Rossini, prosecco, wines, soft drinks and juices.

It’s gonna be a classy one. Tickets range from $25 to $35, inclusive of a drink and party pack. Diners at Como Dempsey get free entry.
Let loose at Harbourfront’s only rooftop bar. Start by feasting from a live satay station and a buffet spread featuring beef carvings, mussels in white wine sauce and more, all the while enjoying free-flowing beers, wines and spirits. This year’s NYE countdown just got a whole lot sexier. If you’ve always abhorred the Marina Bay festivities, the Star Island Singapore Countdown Edition is here to change your mind. It’s no ordinary fireworks display—six chapters, each choreographed to a unique soundtrack, will introduce six differently themed shows of fireworks throughout the night, accompanied by 3D surround sound technology. Tickets range from $38 to $148.
Is the song playing in your head yet? DJs the likes of Ollie'des, YA5TH and Bobos will make sure of it at throwback arcade bar Nineteen80. So end your year on the right note here, where you get to be that nerdy partygoer you’ve always wanted to be. Tickets cost $38, inclusive of a glass of Champagne or house pour.
With a newly revamped terrace lounge, front-row views of the Marina Bay fireworks, and all-you-can-drink Champagne, wines, beers and spirits, centrally-located Zafferano is the place to be for a libatious evening as you await the spectacular stroke of midnight. The final night of the year calls for an epic countdown of debauchery with No Ragrets, the New Year’s Eve special.
