Satisfy your lust for wine at Singapore’s biggest wine event in 2018

Ah, wine. Whether you know exactly how to describe its taste (without using the word smooth), or fancy something that’s just easy to drink, Wine Lust 2018 promises to have a little something for everyone. Returning for the second time from Aug 10-Sep 10, Wine Lust presents an outstanding selection of 15 award-winning restaurants, 40 specialist wine events and 500 wine varietals.

Here’s how it works: There are three special wine programmes spread across the month, each serving up a different experience. Wine Lust Journeys is suited for the discerning wine consumer, with opportunities to meet and share knowledge with wine-makers while indulging in complementary dining experiences. Stellar at 1-Altitude’s Champagne Lust features Don Perignon Vintage, P1, P2, and Rose. At a steep $1,000 per person, the night also includes a 10-course dining experience and limousine transfer service. For something a little less bougie, tuck into jazz brunches at Monti at the Fullerton Pavilion, a four-course Barolo wine dinner at Summerhouse Dining Room, or savor Australian wines at French restaurant Napolean Food & Wine Bar.

Easy Like Sunday Morning provides you with the chance to delve into the tai-tai life and have brunch at Botanico at the Garage, where complimentary tastings of 96 unique wines will be offered. Alternatively, indulge in some silky bubbles at Grand Hyatt’s Pommery poolside barbecue, or take it up a notch with exclusive sake at 1-Altitude, Singapore’s highest alfresco bar.

The final instalment of Wine Lust 2018 is relatable to all of us. First Things First, Drinks allows you to wine and dine by pre-purchasing your favorite wines at a special retail price before dining at the respective selected restaurants, or visit selected boutique wine retailers to get special prices off “wines of the month”. Take it home to enjoy with a good film where tears aren’t limited to within your wine glass, or bring it along to participating venues where corkage fees will be waived. A tour of Singapore’s most happening bars also manifests in the form of a Wine and Tapas Passport—present the passport to enjoy two glasses of Jean Leon and one tapas for $40, or visit five participating bars to automatically receive two complimentary tickets to the 1-Altitude Race Day party. Talk about leaving with a sweet aftertaste.
