As we celebrate the strength and success of women worldwide this month, popular Mexican restaurant Chimichanga at Holland Village steps up to the plate, partnering United Women Singapore in a fundraising initiative to champion women empowerment campaigns and programmes.
Also in partnership with Aperol, Cocktails for a Cause will feature an all-female line-up behind the bar, serving up Aperol cocktails specially crafted for the event.
Armed with simply a sincere passion for the cause, the “bartenders” for that night are no professional bartenders – they’re inspirational individuals trying their hand at bartending to lend their support towards celebrating and honouring women.
Hailing from very different walks of life, the four women that night include Aarthi, Executive Director of SPCA, Sze and Olivia, tattoo artists at Wild Paw Tattoo Co., and Melissa, founder of e-commerce platforms Aurion and The Auction House SG.
Happening on 08 Mar, celebrate the day with cocktails and a worthwhile cause. 50% of proceeds from the specially crafted cocktails have been pledged to United Women Singapore, along with an additional 50% of proceeds from Chimichanga’s IWD Special Cocktail in March also pledged to the non-profit organisation.
