Alcohol Adventures: Whisky Live

Following a sold out inaugural edition in 2010, Whisky Live returns for seconds in Singapore with another cast of the world’s best whiskies. Organized by purveyors of fine spirits La Maison du Whisky, and held at the swanky One On The Bund, Whisky Live is a celebration of the “Water of Life” and everything it inspires.
In addition to whiskies from Scotland, Japan, the USA and India, patrons will also have the opportunity to sample a range of Caribbean rums, German gins, Polish vodkas, fine eaux de vie and an array of cocktails – so be discerning. Exquisite whisky infused chocolates from Laurent Bernard will also be on offer.
Those seeking to understand and appreciate whisky at a higher level can also sign up for masterclasses at 8pm and 9.30pm. If you have trouble distinguishing your Glenlivets from your Glenmorangies and your Bowmores from your Bunnahabhains, these sessions will set you straight.
May 16, 6-11pm. One On The Bund. $68 from City Nomads and $75 from SISTIC. Visit www.whiskylive.com for more information.
