Even the heaviest of rain did not dampen the spirits of 6,000 music fans, some coming from as far as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines at the inaugural St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival last Saturday at Fort Canning Park. From as early as 1pm, fans have already copped their spots on the grass for what is to be one of the year’s most anticipated (and wettest and muddiest) music events.
