5 awesome DJs you can’t miss this month

Nopartyhere feat. Todd Edwards (Feb 13)

Best known for collaborating with Daft Punk, this Grammy winner is a house legend in his own rights. He’ll play his unique blend of UK garage mixed with lively disco basslines and swing.

Max Vangeli (Feb 13)

This hotshot San Francisco-based Moldovan DJ has been on the radar for a while. He’s constantly on the forefront of remixing tracks from DJs like Steve Angello and Tiesto but has also collaborated with AN21 on “Swedish Beauty” and Example. All we can say is “DNCE” to his infectious beats.

Osunlade & Paul Johnson (Feb 14)

American-born Osunlade and British DJ Paul Johnson get together for a double shift. While Osunlade is known for house and dance beats inflected with some soul, Paul Johnson is a pro at merging a variety of genres with more mainstream electronic dance music. Plus, some of you might remember him from his three-year residency at Singapore’s Ministry of Sound.

Goldie (Feb 28)

The return of this multi-hyphenate DJ means more grafitti and drum & bass beats. Founder of Metalheadz, Goldie’s infused hyper-syncopated breakbeats and reggae tunes with soulful vocals and jungle music basslines, so expect more trippy sounds this time round.

JUST BE (Feb 28)

He’s always been known for pushing the boundaries of house, breakbeat, techno, downtempo and ambient beats. He’s played alongside Carl Cox and closed the set at Burning Man so you’ll recognize hits like “Magic Rock”.
