Avalon, the club that opened with a mighty bang last week all through the F1 weekend, has stepped up to complaints following Austrian drum ‘n’ bass duo Kruder & Dorfmeister’s no-show with an announcement on their Facebook fanpage.
The highly-anticipated act was supposed to show up on September 24, and when they didn’t, organizers announced that they would make up for it the next day. They didn’t, leaving punters disappointed and angry.
Today, the Avalon team announced on their Facebook fanpage that they are giving full refunds to guests for both days of the event (September 24-25) to compensate for the absence of Kruder & Dorfmeister. Guests can visit any Ticketbooth outlet to obtain their refund.
Update: Ticket refunds can now only be made at the Downtown East Ticketbooth outlet. Guests will need to show Ticketbooth staff their e-confirmation in order to be refunded. Refunds will be made by cheque.
