We’ve thought it for years and now it’s confirmed—28 HongKong Street is Asia’s best bar. The popular cocktail spot came out tops on the inaugural Asia’s 50 Best Bars list unveiled on Mar 31.
As we anticipated, it was a big night for Singapore as eight other bars made the list—Manhattan (5), Operation Dagger (7), Jigger and Pony (8), Tippling Club (12), D.Bespoke (13), Gibson (22), Anti:dote (43) and Sugarhall (48). With nine venues listed, Singapore is tied with Hong Kong as the city with the most representatives. See the full list here.
Attention now shifts to the World’s 50 Best Bars list announcement on Oct 6. 28 HongKong Street claimed seventh place in the 2015 edition and we’re looking forward to seeing another strong showing.
