The biggest British musical export (and we’re not talking about One Direction here) in recent years is finally hitting our shores with this one-night-only DJ set. Their infectious and funky electronic numbers like “Latch” and “White Noise” should give you enough reason to see them. Be warned, advanced tickets are already sold out.
Midland (17 May)
London-based DJ, Midland doesn’t conform to the formulaic rules of electronic music. Instead, he blends together house, dubstep, techno and classic electronica to create a signature sound of his own. Doesn’t hurt that the cool peeps at Aligned Agency are bringing this party together.
MAKJ (23 May)
This American talent has just wrapped up his performance at popular EDM festival, Ultra Music. Despite his more mainstream sound of house and dance, there’s no doubt that to play at such a huge festival, you’ve gotta have a little bit of street cred.
Laidback Luke (6 June)
Is there really more to say? This Dutch superstar DJ creates a frenzy no matter where he goes with his electro, techno and bass beats. Always one to play some of the craziest sets, catch hits like “Collide” and “Dynamo” and see if that doesn’t send you into a frenzy.
Fritz Kalkbrenner (6 June)
Don’t let his famous brother, Paul Kalkbrenner let you think any lesser of this talented DJ. With tracks like “Sky and Sand” his chiller and more downtempo Deep House beats have garnered a strong following and are only growing from strength to strength.
Cosmic Gate (28 June)
With more than 10 years helming the decks of some of the world’s hottest and biggest clubs, this German electronic dance duo clearly know how to party. As veterans of the music industry with songs like “Wake Your Mind” and “Calm Down”, leave your night in their hands – they’ll make sure you’ll get the best night out.
