<p>The hotly anticipated restaurant and bar concept set to open atop Marina Bay Sands, Lavo Singapore, now has an official opening date and they’ve chosen <strong>Dec 31</strong>, the last day of the year, to do so with a bang.</p>
<p>Details on the grand opening day are scant at the moment—a spokesperson from TAO Group did say that he looks forward to “ring in the New Year with new guests, special performances and surprises”—but the venue, a collaboration between MBS and the famed nightlife operator from New York and Las Vegas, is confirmed to begin fully operating in Jan 2018. This will mark TAO Group’s first foray into Asia.</p>
<p>Lavo Singapore will be serving up Italian-American cuisine at its “vibe-dining” restaurant (which means that they plan to whisk you away into an immersive world filled with top-notch service, food and drinks), complete with luxurious indoor and outdoor lounges, a wraparound terrace (where a gelato cart sits) and nightlife programing that includes live DJ sets. Expect Las Vegas-style VIP treatment as you wine and dine, and when you feel like it, dance the night away.</p>
<p>On the menu are Lavo hits like their penne a la vodka, linguini with clam sauce, chicken parmesan and the one-pound meatball. Craft cocktails will be the emphasis at their bar counters. They will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining with brunch service on weekends.</p>
