Opened in June, new concept pub Pirates on Robertson Quay offers punters a chance to live out their Johnny Depp fantasies, before retiring to their luxury condos.
Adhering to their pirates theme, the riverside bar stocks a wide range of booze—beers (from $7), cocktails (from $11), spirits (from $10), wines (from $11), as well as Champagne and wine spritzers (from $14). You can even request for special off-the-menu concoctions from head bartender Siti Faridah, formerly from Grand Hyatt’s BRIX.
Food-wise, you’ve got more than the usual bar bites here, with main courses like the meat lovers’ special pizza ($20) and braised veal shank osso bucco with homemade mash ($28). Just try not to go overboard.
