Oktoberfest Asia 2013 to debut in Singapore on October 16

Beer fans and partygoers will have one more reason to cheer this October with the Singapore premiere of Oktoberfest Asia 2013, from October 16 to 19.

This four-day pop-up festival takes place for the first time ever in Singapore and looks set to be a large-scale event that will rival the many other Oktoberfest parties happening each year.

Beer lovers need look no further as fine Bavarian breweries such as Paulaner Brauhaus, Spaten and Schneider Weisse serve up brews at themed “bars” on festival grounds. Jägermeister will be throwing a special secret party as well.

To go with the drinks, there will be plenty of German cuisine such as pork knuckles, bratwust, sauerkraut and meatloaf served by professional servers dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Live performances from bands such as The Original Hofbräuhaus Show and stand-up comedy shows from acts like The Comedy Pimp will keep everyone entertained through the four days.

Early bird tickets start from $75 for weekdays and $85 for weekends, and will be available via SISTIC shortly. Table bookings are available as well. For more updates, log on to the Oktoberfest Asia website.
