Their Special Springtime Journey is also happening at eight other top bars, each with their own exclusive Roku creations

A time of fresh beginnings, where Nature offers some of her best gifts and views, Spring has always been a time of bright disposition and cheerful vibes. In Japan, Spring is further enhanced by the blooming of their internationally renowned cherry blossoms.

A global icon, the sakura is not only synonymous with Japan’s Spring, it is also a pivotal element in the making of Roku Gin. In celebration of the season, Roku Gin launches an exciting campaign of specialty cocktails this month, showcasing unique interpretations through collaborations with nine top bars and bartenders around town, including the acclaimed VUE at OUE Bayfront.

An exquisite spirit distilled using six Japanese botanicals – roku means six in Japanese – Roku Gin is crafted by Japanese artisans who still adhere to and embrace a centuries-old tradition of meticulous attention to detail, strictly using only the best of each season in the making of the popular gin.

Like the other ingredients that go into Roku Gin, sakura leaves and flowers are harvested at the peak of Spring for maximum freshness and flavour. sencha and gyokuro teas are harvested at the peak of Summer, sansho pepper in Autumn, and yuzu in Winter.

A balanced, multi-layered spirit, the award-winning gin presents a complex yet harmonious botanical flavour, with refreshing citrusy top notes, complemented by sweet, floral aromas, and a crisp, subtly spicy finish.

From now till the end of May, head over to VUE and eight other top tippling spots to discover exclusive cocktails that showcase of best of Spring with Roku Gin’s floral notes.

At VUE, executive chef Sam Chin presents three beautiful Roku Gin concoctions that take on the revitalising spirit of Spring, inspired by visuals of fading snow and Nature’s rebirth.
