Rooftop bar Loof reopens in Singapore’s CBD

After a short hiatus and a facelift, rooftop bar Loof is back with a bang.
The Lo & Behold crew’s made some serious effort to jazz up the cool spot (it’s more open now). There’s also a super cute addition, The Mama Shop, selling an assortment of retro throwbacks (from $0.50). Five stones ($2.50) and marbles ($2.50) anyone?
But it’s not just the space that’s got a chic yet laidback new look, the food and drinks menus have also enjoyed a massive revamp. We’re talking elevated pub grub like local-inspired Wings Lah, sambal tumis chicken wings ($16) and chili crab dip with fried mantou ($16), as well as ahi kueh pie tee with jicama ($16) and Tiger Toast ($9).
Boozehounds will appreciate the handsome list of cocktails. Sure, they’ve kept a handful of faves like The Gummiberry ($17) and black forest mojito ($17), but be sure to give the new offerings (all $17) with a distinct Southeast Asian-influence a go. Concoctions like Penang Padi features fresh chili, soy sauce and vanilla vodka, while Bandung Bloom’s a unique vodka-based tipple with rose syrup, calamansi juice and sparkling wine.
