Remi Kabaka aka Russel Hobbs of U.K virtual band Gorillaz is bringing the quartet’s chart-topping hits to Zouk. Dubbed the Gorillaz Sound System (GSS), it’s going to be a nostalgic showcase with projections of the band’s characters across the club. We can’t wait for remixes of trip-hop originals like “On Melancholy Hill” and “Clint Eastwood” by the multi-talented Kabaka, a percussionist, DJ and gallery manager—all classics of the 90s and noughties.
