The homegrown craft beer scene has erupted. From long-time brands like Brewlander to newer entrants like Tuas Brewing Co., our creative brewers just seem to be able to keep coming up with new beers to flow through our taps.
In light of this year’s National Day, we’re showing our support for all things local the best way we know how—by showcasing (and drinking) seven beers that are all born here in Singapore. There are many more out there, but hey, if we tried ‘em all we wouldn’t have been sober enough to complete this video.
Whether you’re into bold and intense barleywines or refreshing and sessionable pale ales, there’s a style of locally-brewed beer in here for everyone.
Beers tried in order:
Tuas Brewing Co. Singapore Lager
Trouble Brewing (The Dragon Chamber) Summer Sesh Ale
Brewlander Love Wild IPA
Lion Brewery Co. Straits Pale Ale
Lion City Meadery Spiced Mead
Archipelago Lemongrass Pale Ale
The General Brewing Co. Kickapow Barleywine
