Where to eat and enjoy the best happy hours along the Singapore River

Drinking and dining by the river never gets old, with old classics and newcomers keeping things interesting. To keep track of all the delicious signature dishes and the great deals on happy hour, we’ve just put out a quarterly map in partnership with Singapore River One.

Inside, you’ll find what to eat at relative newcomer D.O.P. Mozzarella Bar & Restaurant on Robertson Quay, which specializes in authentic, certified burrata and mozzarella cheeses from southern Italy, the highlights at the more seasoned My Little Spanish Place on Boat Quay and the meaty delights at Hot Stones Steak & Seafood on Clarke Quay, to name just a few.

On the drinks front, open-air dining and affordable drinks are the name of the game for Bar Bar Black Sheep, where you can enjoy 1-for-1 buckets of four bottles of Asahi, Corona or Somersby for $59 from 9pm while The Mad Men Attic Bar near Boat Quay is an ideal after-work venue with live music and happy hour from 5pm to 8pm (beers, wines and spirits from $12 and cocktails from $14).

To learn more, pick up a copy of our quarterly Singapore River Precinct Guide and Map, in partnership with Singapore River One, at selected malls, restaurants and tourist attractions, and explore all that the Singapore River has to offer. Or, you could download it here.
