Why hit the bars on NYE when you could hit the rides*

[SPONSORED] Hitting the clubs on New Year’s Eve year after year can get a bit old. How about going to a theme park instead for some late-night adrenaline-pumping rides? There’s just the thing at Universal Studios Singapore™. Their idea of a New Year’s Eve party is Dance in the Park: A Neon Countdown to 2015.

On Dec 31, opening hours will be extended to 1am and you’ll be able to take turns on lots of the rides—everything from the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure to TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle.

Take photographs with Universal Studios Singapore characters, plus there will be light shows, street dancers and LED stilt walkers. DJ toMU will do a set, and tribute act The Black Eyed Tease will do covers of anthems like Where Is The Love and I Gotta Feeling.

Don’t worry: there will be replenishment for the night. Restaurants at the park will also stay open late and KT’s Grill will do a happy hour with 1-for-1 Tiger Beer or selected house pours from 5-10pm.

And of course, come midnight, there will be a pyrotechnics show at Lake Hollywood.

Dance in the Park: A Neon Countdown to 2015 will be held on Dec 31, from 5pm–1am. Entry will be $68 after 5pm, or $61 if you buy your tickets online (minimum purchase of 2 tickets). Any guests visiting with day passes can also stay on till the park closes. More info here or at 6577-8888.
