This year you’ll be able to dine from Burnt Ends at ZoukOut

Every December, the perennial question of where to go for dinner before ZoukOut haunts serious partygoers. Will it just be a quick meal at the VivoCity foodcourt, or is there enough time between leaving the office and the start of the party to properly fuel up for 24 hours of booze-filled revelry? Usually it ends up being McDonalds takeaway—a meal more perfunctory than pleasurable.

This year, however, the plebeian life will be yours no longer. For its 18th edition (and for the first time ever), ZoukOut Singapore is introducing a gourmet pop-up dinner, for a select 150 to enjoy before the partying on Dec 1. More excitingly, the full-service, four-hands affair brings together two stellar culinary brands—Mediterranean-leaning FOC Sentosa and the now one-Michelin-starred Burnt Ends. The former is headed by Michelin-starred Chef Nandu Jubany, while the latter has had a notorious history of long lines and an almost impossible waiting list, likely lengthened after it earned its first Michelin Star at the Michelin Guide Awards last July. If you’ve been trying to make a date with the modern Australian BBQ restaurant, now’s your chance to skip the queue.

The dinner will present a full-course dinner with over 15 main and sharing plates of signature touches from both restaurants. There are only 150 slots, available exclusively to festival goers holding a ZoukOut VIP pass, and you’ll have to personally make your booking with Zouk’s VIP team. Naturally, the star-studded affair carries a heftier price tag—$220 per person with optional add-on wine pairing; but hey, you can always have McDonald’s again next year.

ZoukOut Singapore 2018 is happening Dec 1 at Siloso Beach, Sentosa. Tickets and packages are available here and you can check out the full line-up here.
