Our humble island has been making waves on the international news circuit these past few weeks. For the fifth consecutive year, we’ve been named the world’s most expensive city to live in according to Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) Worldwide Cost of Living 2018 survey, had our Changi Airport voted as the world’s best for the sixth year running and the two-Michelin-starred Odette taking the top five position on this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, up four spots from its debut last year. Now, DJ Mag‘s prestigious fan-voted Top 100 Clubs list has just been released, and we couldn’t be more proud of the two candidates flying the Singapore flag.

Retaining its hold on the top 10 once again is none other than Zouk Singapore, moving up one spot to break into the top three. Just last year, they managed to overtake Seoul’s three-storey basement club Octagon—the only other Asian nightclub on the top 10 list—earning them the bragging rights of being Asia’s best. Of course they’ll be throwing a big celebration—from the first week of April till Jul 7, they’re bringing down the entry fee to $20 (ladies) and $25 (men) between 8-10pm, and all members are entitled to one-for-one housepours at the new Members Lounge. There’ll also be a DJ Mag Celebration Party on Apr 28 featuring a lineup of both Zouk and DJ Mag residents (first 300 before midnight will go in free and receive limited edition Zouk merch).

Rooftop hotshot Ce La Vi also continues to impress—they made their debut on the list two years ago at #90, then jumped 10 spots to #80 last year. Now they’ve managed to land themselves at #67, up a whooping 13 places, on the list. It probably helps that they’ve got an amazing view of Singapore’s city skyline on one side, and of Gardens By The Bay on the other, making it an unparalleled spot to party. In the past year, they’ve brought in numerous big wigs in the game like Armin van Buuren, Roger Sanchez and Bassjackers.
