British celeb chef Jamie Oliver holds Singapore graffiti art contest

British celeb chef Jamie Oliver is holding a graffiti art contest where participants stand the chance to design a graffiti mural for the chef’s first restaurant in Singapore, Jamie’s Italian (opening at VivoCity in the summer of 2013).

The proposed mural should measure 10.5 metres in width and 2.3 metres in height. The deadline for entry is April 1 and the winning entry will be announced on April 15.

To enter, artists should send sketches of their planned designs as well as three of their latest relevant art pieces to design@jamieoliver-int.com

Jamie Oliver’s graffiti art competition joins other recently launched graffiti initiatives in Singapore, including the Singapore River One Underpass Art Project.
