Japanese restaurant Marukyu now open on Telok Ayer Street

Chef Derrick Lau presents new kid on the block Marukyua fine dining concept featuring omakase and kaiseki-style meals.

The omakase lunch and dinner sets start at $68 and $108 respectively. Other items—including various lunch and dinner sets that start as low as $16 for lunch and $23 for dinner—are also on offer, together with exquisite seasonal signatures, like grilled Hokkaido snow crab-leg with cod fish roe ($65), Japanese wagyu beef nigiri sushi ($20), and seared fatty tuna rice with sea urchin ($35). For simpler Japanese fare, there’s a range of classics on the menu, from sashimi to yakimono.
