All-new pie specialist and café Windowsill Pies in Jalan Besar will be introducing savory items to their menu on January 19.
On top of their delish selection of pies such as pumpkin ($7.50), s’mores ($8) and The Sam Willows ($7.50)—named after local band The Sam Willows—with hazelnut parfait, peanut butter swirls, rosemary cream and topped with poached pears.
New items that will be available soon include bacon waffles with egg salad, corn butter and maple syrup ($15), Shrimp Po’boy ($15), a fried popcorn shrimp sarnie with cucumber and sweet gherkin, and corndog with peanut butter mustard ($8).
A more extensive breakfast and savory menu is slated to be launched in the next few weeks with dishes like grilled cheese sanwiches and Horne Beef Hash.
