Tiger launching new Radler beer

Singapore’s homegrown Tiger beer will soon be available in an all-new lemon variety. Tiger Radler comes pre-mixed with natural lemon juice for what is billed as “double refreshment”. Radlers (a.k.a. shandies, a.k.a panaché, a.k.a. beer and lemonade) are hugely popular over in Europe: Radler literally means “cyclist” and, in German-speaking countries, this super refreshing drink doubles up as post-workout rehydration and everyday summer staple. And, of course, we all know how much better a Corona tastes when you drop in a slice of lemon.

There’s not much info online as yet, but an invite in the mail today (including two free lemons!) promises more details will be unveiled next week.

In the meantime, brush up on your beer cocktail knowledge with this informative article over at Slate.
