Fans of Spanish cuisine, head to the heart of Orchard Road for La Taperia Restaurant’s spin-off establishment that’s all about the wines. In a corner street of Shaw Centre, La Taperia Wine & Tapas curates the best of Spanish wines, along with old and new world wines. The menu is extensive to say the least, with reds and whites from Spain, France and Italy, as well as rose and sparklings.
As for food, it’s a menu of classic Spanish tapas, including suckling pig croquettes ($4 per piece) and crispy baby squid ($12); plus heavier signatures like the Iberian pork ($18) and 200-day grain-fed Black Angus beef ($26).There’re also desserts like the premium cheese platter ($14) and the obligatory churros ($3.50 per piece), to enjoy with your wines if you’d like.
