Le Pont De Vie

Despite its questionable choice of purple wall coloring, inside this small restaurant still manages to establish an intimate and sophisticated vibe suitable for wining and dining clients, friends or for a romantic meal. Out back there’s a more rustic and casual feel for those who prefer a less formal setting and out front there’s a cozy chill out drinks area. Impeccable service only adds to the charm so it’s a pity that this little find remains somewhat undiscovered. We hope this unpretentious place starts to become more frequented because the food is all pretty good. We were impressed with the choices on our set lunch menu (two or three courses). We appreciated the creativity of the tomato jelly and feta salad, the halibut fish with truffle mash was nicely cooked with a delicious sauce and we loved the champignon pasta which was light yet creamy. Rounding out the meal were the chocolate fondant and the bread pudding which satisfied our sweet tooth without being over the top.
