This Thai restaurant chain is exactly what it sets out to be: A decent mid‑range eatery that offers fast, reasonably‑priced food. So don’t expect high‑end Thai food or authentic street food; what you get here is middle‑of‑the‑road—acceptable Thai food in a modern, café‑like setting. We liked the variety in the menu, and had a mix of dishes: A starter of rice cakes with a meat sauce, fried kuay teow, woon sen with seafood, all of which were alright. Our desserts of mango and sticky rice and tapioca in coconut milk were pretty good, as were our lemon grass drinks. Lerk Thai runs its operations very smoothly—its greatest strength: You will be seated quickly, and if it’s over‑packed, your orders will be taken in advance. Food arrives quickly, as does the bill; the servers know what they’re doing and are nice too. It’s perfect for a quick and good value meal, although we hear that the quality of the customer experience is not always consistent across branches. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty safe bet and one that you can trust for a nice, fuss‑free, tasty meal at a very affordable price. Branches at various other locations.
