Well-known for its sumptuous buffets, this hotel restaurant is a staple in the Singapore dining scene. We came here for its lunch buffet and were reminded why Oscar’s constantly rates so highly—its tip-top service, a delicious buffet spread and fine setting.
Between us we tried most of the buffet and really have to say that everything was consistently good, from the sushi and sashimi, cold seafood, the Asian and Western mains, and, of course, dessert. Do try the Caesar salad—it is a special of the chef’s who is delighted when anyone asks for it and will personally toss up a bowl.
This restaurant includes little touches like a fresh juice bar and an assortment of breads brought to your table that take the dining experience up a notch and make you feel well looked after. That the servers are polite and prompt adds to the satisfaction too. Their “Amazing Graze” Sunday brunch is always excellent and well attended, but come here anytime and you’ll get a reliably superior dining experience.
