Sushi Mitsuya

Step into this clean and minimalistic sushiya on Tras Street and you are immediately in a state of zen. Warm natural light glides in from the skylight in the middle of the restaurant, illuminating the imposing 18-seater hinoki wood counter, behind which head chef Ryosuke Harada and his team practice their craft. Omakase is the way to go at Sushi Mitsuya, as Harada is known for regularly surprising diners with his new creations, and his affable nature encourages interaction. The restaurant’s simple and neutral aesthetic carries on into the two private rooms, which can accommodate up to 12 people together and provide an ideal space for refined celebrations.
